             This is a field guide of sorts that addresses freshwater habitats.   It includes common species, stream geomorphology, ecological and habitat overview, and basic field study techniques.


Good Points:

  • Comprehensive index makes it useful for quick reference.
  • Clear diagrams help illustrate concepts.


Other Notes:

  • Black and white only, and text heavy in places.
  • High-school/adult level.
