2012 Tapestry Project

35 schools participated this year, including classes from Alaska, Washington, New Mexico, Illinois, South Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, New York, and New Hampshire.   The squares—which had images of everything from sockeye salmon to stoneflies and life cycle diagrams to healthy stream habitats—reflected the geographic and age diversity of the students.

Here is the awesome quilt from the North Country Class in New Hampshire.

And a great quilt from the St. John Regional Catholic School in Maryland.

And another sweet quilt and some students sewing, also in Maryland!
